A web application is not a website

Web Application (Web App)

Intranets

An intranet is an organization’s internal web-based system that enables the sharing of information, communication, and collaboration among employees. It operates like a website, but its content and functionalities are restricted to the organization’s members and are typically protected from external users through methods like login requirements or firewalls.
Extranets
An extranet is a web-based system that enables secure communication and collaboration between an organization and its external stakeholders, such as customers, partners, or suppliers. An extranet often uses the same technology as an intranet, but its access is extended to include external users.
We have implemented extranets for Itis and Jumbo, among others. In both cases, the extranet serves as a tool for the representatives of the shopping centers’ stores.
CRM
The world’s largest CRM systems, such as Salesforce, are now web applications. We have also developed custom customer data applications for our clients’ use.
Online courses and learning environments
We have developed numerous web applications to function as web-based learning environments. The Koulukoulu.fi platform by the Finnish National Agency for Education and various financial learning applications for Nuorten Yrittäjyys ja Talous NYT ry are great examples of web applications.
Meeting applications
