A web application is not a website

It differs from a website and an web store primarily based on its purpose and technical features.
Purpose, interactivity and technology

Interactivity: Users can, for example, input data, view dynamic reports or perform actions that modify the content of the service in real-time.
Technology: Behind the scenes, there are often complex functions such as database queries, access control and API integrations. Interfaces are typically implemented using application-like technologies that do not require page reloads.

Intranets
We have developed numerous intranet tools tailored to the needs of our clients.
An intranet is an organisation’s internal web-based system that enables the sharing of information, communication and collaboration among employees.
An intranet functions like a website, but its content and features are accessible only to members of the organisation. They are typically secured from external access through measures such as login authentication or firewalls.
Extranets
An extranet is a web-based system that enables secure communication and collaboration between an organisation and its external stakeholders, such as customers, partners or suppliers. An extranet often uses the same technology as an intranet, but its access is extended to include external users.
We have implemented extranets for shopping centres Itis and Jumbo, among others. In both cases, the extranet serves as a tool for the representatives of the shopping centres’ stores.
CRM
The world’s largest CRM systems, such as Salesforce, are now web applications. We have also developed custom customer data applications for our clients’ use.
Online courses and learning environments
We have developed several web applications to function as web-based learning environments.
The Koulukoulu.fi platform by the Finnish National Agency for Education and various economic learning applications for Nuorten Yrittäjyys ja Talous NYT ry are great examples of web applications.
Meeting applications
