Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières, MSF) is an international humanitarian organisation specialising in medical aid. For 50 years, the organisation has provided healthcare to victims of armed conflicts, epidemics and natural disasters, as well as to those without access to medical services. We supported the Finnish branch of MSF in redesigning their website. The website is the organisation’s single most important tool for marketing communications, information sharing and fundraising.

The primary purpose of the Médecins Sans Frontières Finland website is to increase donations. In addition, it serves as the organisation’s main channel for marketing communications and information sharing.

What we did

  • Service DesignWe helped the client identify the solutions needed to best achieve the goals set for the service.

  • DesignWe designed the website’s user interface to convey the client’s brand atmosphere and key messages in the best possible way.

  • DevelopmentThe website was built using the WordPress content management system. It features a versatile, rich and user-friendly set of content management tools, including numerous custom content types and content blocks. In addition, donation functionalities were implemented and integrated with the client’s CRM, Salesforce, as well as with payment gateways.

  • Data & analytics We designed an analytics solution to help both the client and us analyse the performance of the service. The service and its content are continuously developed based on data.

  • CareOur collaboration continues with the maintenance and development of the service.
